Dear family and friends,
Another busy week. I
cannot believe that it is February already. Weeks are continuing to fly by.
This week was actually a lot warmer than it should be for a Minnesota winter.
Tuesday: We had
service at Prince of peace. Then we went to Panera Bread for lunch. Then our
trunk broke.. So we went and got an estimated price on that and man it is going
to be expensive. Then we did a lot of visits and had a few lessons. It
was good!!
Wednesday: We had a
district meeting and it was really good. We talked a lot about finding, that is
the focus this transfer. So that is going to be fun. We are doing lots of
Tracting this transfer so that should be good. Then we went and gave a
member a blessing that was sick. Then we had basketball which was super good. We
had a lot of non members there. Also we got to do some service for a member. We
helped moving some hay and played with some goats. Hahaha it was really fun! We
are going back this week to help more with some service.
Thursday: We had
service at Prince of peace again. Then we taught a lesson to a less active
member. He has the sweetest Disney movie collection. Any Disney movie you can
think of he has. Then we played frisbee with our recent convert named Taz. It
was super fun! The gym in the church was being used so we played in the parking
lot and man it was pretty cold that day.. Then we had a lesson with Mike
Perkins one of our investigators. Except it was his birthday, so we were not
able to stay too long with him.
Friday: The coolest
thing happened this day. We got a text from a random number saying that he was
told to text us by Sister Richards In Salt Lake, he just moved to Minnesota
from Utah and a lot of his friends got baptized. He asked us " What is the
converting Process like? " So this guy is like a golden investigator. We
are meeting him on Wednesday. I am soooo excited!! :) Then we had a a lesson
with a returning less active member. Then at night when I was writing in my
journal and I got a call from my good friend Elder Long. That was sweet to talk
to him.
Saturday: We had
basketball and volleyball and we did a few stop by's, and it was cool seeing
and meeting a few people that bishop wanting us to stop by.
Sunday: We learned how
to knit with a less active member. It was sweet!
I
don't have a lot of time because all the missionaries I am with want to play
some dodgeball, volleyball, and basketball. I am doing pretty good! I still
can't believe it is February. Love you all have the best week!!
Love, Elder Anderson
